About Scott Andrews
I live in Cary, North Carolina with my wife and four daughters. I graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1987 and proudly served our country as an Army officer and aviator (helicopter pilot) for 5 years, including Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield. I earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina in 1995 and subsequently co-founded www.sciquest.com, serving as CEO and Chairman. We took the web-based software company public in 1999 and then private a few years later.
My first trade was in 1991 and I have been trading full time since 2004. Gaps are my "bread and butter" trade. At the encouragement of some fellow traders, I started calling out my daily gap plays in a live trading room in early 2007. During this time, I earned the nickname, "Gap Guy." The volume of interest coupled with the dearth of quality gap trading information on the web, prompted the development of MasterTheGap.com.
Posting my daily gap trade plan (with exact stop and target) in advance of the opening bell for members of my private blog, I generated a 67% win rate (88/132 opening gap trades) during the tumultous period of September, 2007 through February, 2009 (launch of this new site). Using 2x my standard leverage, I more than doubled the starting equity in small, gap-only account while keeping my worst drawdown to less than 20%. (Members can view a trade-by-trade summary for 2009 in the Member's download area.)
There are many different ways to trade gaps successfully. My goal is to arm you with historical probabilities and tools to help you trade gaps more profitably, while establishing a community of "gappers" for the benefit of all.
Carpe Diem!
Scott

About Tim Mock

I live in Columbia, SC with my wife Joey. I am a graduate of East Carolina University and spent the first 10 years of my professional career in the electrical industry. I worked for multiple companies as a sales engineer and also spent some time in sales management. Upon moving to Columbia in 2001, I ventured into the world of real estate sales and am still active in the real estate investments.
My trading journey began in 2004 and could be the script for a novel. I have spent a lot of years and a tremendous amount of money to discover that discretionary trading does not fit my personality. I first met Scott a few years ago in a chat room and we talked via phone for over a year before ever meeting in person. He introduced me to the probability way of trading and helped me uncover a style that truly fit my personality. I have since developed my own trading systems using Tradestation Easy Language.
It is my goal to help Master the Gap traders avoid the painful years that I had to endure by helping them create a trading methodology and plan that fits their personality and objectives. The coaching program at Master the Gap is designed specifically to accomplish that goal. We have created a comprehensive program that easily adapts to the needs of each individual trader.
There is no better way to learn to trade than to have someone who has “been there, done that” hold your hand along the way. My customers agree - see their testimonials.
I look forward to our journey together.
Tim
